My oven is too hot

Model Number:KSEG700ESS2
Main Symptom:Oven cooks too fast
What happens & when:I replaced the upper and lower element and the temperature element. That fixed the problem of not heat on the bottum. Now, I think the temperature needs to be reset…so it won’t cook too fast and burn food.

Is the temperature significantly outside of a 25 degree range from the set temperature? If so, what temperature is being reached compared to what the temperature is set to?

I can’t really say. I set the oven at 325 for 10 minutes and it burned the cookies to a crisp. I did more at 300 for 7-1/2 minutes and they were perfect. The 325 was what the instructions said.

It sounds like the temperature can just be offset in a calibration mode. Here are the steps for this.
