GE Washing Machine GTW680BSJ5WS agitating randomly
In February 2026, the machine started agitating randomly with the lid open when it wasn’t in use. I entered diagnostic mode for the first time since I’ve had it and had a bunch of codes (27, 20, 8, 31, and 26). Cleared all codes and the issue stopped.
Yesterday the same issue happened again, this time the only 2 codes that came back were 31 and 27 since February. Cleared the codes and the issue stopped again. The machine seems to wash normally with no issues to the best of my knowledge.
Is there something I can fix here? When I look up both codes I don’t seem to be having any issues relating to both of them. Am I missing something? Thanks!
