I have a samsung freezer on bottom fridge on top model #RB215LASH
My Freezer is not working right in that it is not keeping a steady temp. It continues to freeze up in the back my digital temp read out that is on the doors right now says that it is 68 degrees but if you open the door to the freezer it is colder than that. I have unpluged it 2 sdeperate times and let it totaly defrost for 3 days. When i plug it in it seems to work fine for a few days and then starts back into the same problem. The last time i defrosted it underneath the chrispers in my fridge had accumlated water and had begun to freeze but has not done it since the last timw i defrosted it about 1 month ago. Since this has started now my icemaker will not work either before theses problems started it was making ice like there was no tomorrow. What could seem to be the problem any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh BTW i have tried to contract several repair stores in my area and none of them want to work on my brand of fridge. I was advised that it could be a defrost timmer gone bad but do not even know where to begin top look for that of how to check if that would be bad. I would really hate to go out and buy another fridge if it was something small that i could do myself for a small amount instead of spending 500 or more on a new one
Hi,
Here is the service manual for your model refrigerator. Section 12 is diagnostic. Read it over, do some test and let us know what you find.
