The dryer turns and blow air but not hot air. We took the back panel off but not sure what to check? I have printed the diagrams of the parts but was unable to go on the website for the wiring. It was down. I also found a paper taped to the inside top section showing a diagram of the wiring but it is difficult to understand. What should I check?

Here are your parts

See the attachment for the wiring diagram.

First check the power.
You will notice that the timer motor on this unit runs off of 240 volts.
So put the unit into a mid cycle timed dry mode.
If the timer advances then you have the 240 volts which also powers the heating element.
If it does not advance try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without tripping the breaker.
If that does nothing you will have to track down the wiring problem.

If the timer advances in timed dry, then switch the unit to an auto mode. In auto the timer motor gets power through the heating element when the heating element is turned off.
If it now does not advance then I would check the heating element.
Unplug the dryer and measure the heating element with a meter.
They are usually 8 to 12 ohms.

If the timer does advance then the heating element is probably OK.
Unplug the dryer.
Check the operating thermostat contacts and the thermal cutoff.
Both should be 0 ohms.
Note: The thermostat is 4 connection. 2 of them are an internal heater, the other 2 are the contacts (red, heavier gauge wires).

If the thermal cutoff is blown get add to this post as there are others things you should check before replacing.
