Mini-refrig not cooling (bad capacitor)

Looks like I have had company on this topic. My dorm-sized refrigerator does not cool. The capacitor (CBB65A-2) is bad, I know because I borrowed another capacitor from a similar unit. Frigidaire/Electrolux still makes refrigerators like this, with similar compressors and capacitors. Problem is you cannot purchase a capacitor to replace the old one, from Frigidaire/Electrolux, even though they probably have boxes of them sitting around. So, anyone have an idea how to replace?

When I look up the capacitor part number I get the following
AP4565264
It shows it as just out of stock so with a little luck they may be able to get one for you.

If that does not work out you could take it to an electronics parts supplier they should be able to cross match it. You may have to do some jiggery pokery to get it to have the same connections etc.

The capacitor comes up as a MCCF10WMD,

Thanks, I’ll follow up on that. Earlier today, I tried the infamous Supco 3-in-1 starter and for now its working. Lets see how long it continues to cool.
