Miele F14 Error Message

Hi, I am getting a F14 error on My Miele G1222 series dishwasher.

When starting a program it fills to the correct level, runs the water softner cycle for about 30 seconds, then a relay can be heard pulling/humming for about one second (am assuming this is the relay for the ciculation pump) but the ciculation pump does not start and I have verified no water is circulated through the washer arms. After another 5 seconds a discrete click is heard (another relay?). After about 13 seconds this short cycle repeats itself and tries the same thing again and again about 20x times.
After that the F14 message appears and the drain cycle starts and empties the machine from water.

I have checked the following:

The circulation pump capacitor measured OK (10uF) but replaced it anyway just in case. The circulation pump motor winding resistance measured to 15 ohms (outer connectors) and 17.5 ohms (inner connectors). The pump housing and impeller was disassembled and is free from contaminants and the pump motor spins freely. I checked the Heater pressure switch which operates according to the Miele schematics and actuates when pressurized.

Any idea what the culprit may be?

As I started digging deeper it turns out that one of the connectors to the central control board was partly melted and there were also burn marks on the circuit board itself. It was the connector that goes to the circulation pump that had overheated and no longer was connected. I re-checked both coil resistances, this time from the board connector through the harness and through the connected motor and they checked out fine so I ended up souring a used board (that came with cur of wiring and connectors!). After replacing the bad connector and the circuit board the dishwasher works fine again without errors!
