Hi ztsang250, is this the original burner, or has it been replaced before? If it’s the original burner, there’s most likely a burnt or damaged coil somewhere in the burner, which would explain why it won’t turn on.

This is a new part from you guys. I would say the middle section of the burner is bad and I would need a new replacement. I included 2 pictures.

Hi ztsang250, do you hear any flickering, crackling, or static-type noise when turning the knob? To check, slowly turn the knob in both directions and listen closely.

If that checks out, unplug the range and remove the back panel. Look for any burnt spots, damaged wiring, or a burnt smell around the switch and connections.

If everything looks good there, then the burner itself is most likely the culprit.

Hi

No flickering or crackling noise when turning the knob.

We were able to use the outer side of the burner, no problem.

No burnt smell.

how do I go about getting a replacement for the burner.

You will need to call Customer Service and go through the warranty replacement process with them. They should be able to help you with the next steps for getting the unit or part replaced under warranty.
