Microwave won't start

Main Symptom: won’t start
What happens & when:when I put in the cook time and press start, there a a few odd clicking sounds. The microwave won’t start but the timer counts down. Digital readout works, so it does have power.

The first thing to do would be to test the door switches on the unit. If they are good then the control board will be the issue.
