Microwave will not operate - oven is fine

Microwave was working fine. Now, door prompt on microwave digital pad is displayed and will not function. Also, no light goes on in microwave. Oven is operating properly.

The first thing I would do is check the door switches. You have to remove the microwave from the oven cabinet in order to access all parts. You can find the complete disassembly instructions in the Service manual.

I have the same problem with this model. I have checked the 3 micro switches with VOM and can’t find a problem. I checked 20amp miniature fuse located behind the capacitor and the fuse in the top of the cabinet. What could I have missed?

Is this the fuse which is shown as #9 at the diagram? How did you check it?
