Microwave turns on automatically, no timer, no heat

Just all of a sudden my microwave no longer works properly. When I close the microwave door, it turns on. Rather the lights and motor turn on. The turntable stays still and nothing was heated.

I then unplugged the unit and left it off for about five minutes before plugging it back in.

The funny thing is that now the microwave works. What could be going on here? I don’t like that my microwave is unpredictable in this way. I read somewhere on this forum that a problem similar to mine was caused by a bad secondary latch or something like that.

The cause of a such problem could be a stuck door interlock switch or a stuck interlock relay on the control board. I’m not able to provide more accurate advice because there are no technical information available on-line for this model.
