Hello, everyone. New to this sub. I just picked up a neighbors microwave that stopped working probably and I’m going to make an attempt to fix it. Based on research it looks like the thermal fuse (common fault for Breville Error-05). I have electrical experience but I’ve never played with microwaves specifically. What special precautions/steps should I take? Thanks in advance.
If nothing comes on, the cavity thermostat, if it comes on and doesn’t heat the magnetron. Be careful, the high voltage side can shock you big time.
