Melted Connection Between H.V Transformer and Magnetron

Need help troubleshooting power but no heat for this model. Unit would power on and makes a noise as if the magnetron is powered but it does not deliver heat.

I have tested the following components: 4 T.C.Os, 2 fuses, door switches, magnetron reads correct resistances, high voltage transformer reads correct resistances, H.V capacitor is not shorted between leads or leads and ground. H.V diode shows a good voltage drop and open when reversed.

The only strange things i’ve noticed are one of the wires connecting the h.v transformer to the magnetron was melted/burned at the connection point. additionally when measuring the internal resistor on the h.v capacitor my multimeter showed a very high value momentarily and then showed open, not sure if this is simply because the internal bleed resistor is such a high value. Please help, any info is very appreciated. thanks

Pic won’t work. Magnetrons can test OK and still not work. Did you try replacing the burnt connector?
