Main Symptom: Is basket suppose to be moving along with agitator?
What happens & when: So 3 days ago, we went ahead and changed the rotor long with the slider as washing machine would make loud sounds when spinning. (Sounds were becoming louder and louder- loud enough to spook the dogs causing them to run out of the garage) After changing the rotor, I have attempted to calibrate by going into diagnostic mode 052 hit start and it just keeps going and never ends. But when in diagnostics washer 012, about 60 seconds after I hit start/pause button, I only see the agitator moving and no basket. (Is the basket also suppose to move?) Washing machine then shuts down on its own. I’ve also attempted to calibrate by putting washer in “clean washer” yes it will start only moving the agitator, NO water running and shut off within a minute. I have also attempt to wash clothes, yet no water comes out. But when testing water in diagnostics on 001, 002- both work fine.

During an agitation, the basket can rotate a little bit but it would not rotate at the same speed as the agitator unless it is in a spin mode. It sounds like there may be something going on with the clutch not engaging properly. The clutch would need to be double checked to ensure it is able to engage the spin basket drive shaft.
