On the MVWC565FW2, if it still violently shakes and bangs during final spin after replacing the suspension rods, I’d check the basket/hub and drive system next. New suspension rods won’t correct a basket that’s loose or wobbling on the drive shaft.
Start with the washer unplugged and empty. Push down firmly on the basket and release it. It should come back up without continuing to bounce several times. Also make sure all four new suspension rods are fully seated at the top and bottom and none of the suspension cups are damaged.
Next, grab the stainless inner basket at the top and try to rock it side-to-side independently of the outer tub. A little movement of the entire tub assembly is normal. What you don’t want is the inner basket clunking or rocking separately. Then rotate the basket slowly by hand and watch the gap between the basket and tub. If the basket appears to run out of round or wobble, inspect the basket hub/drive connection.
I’d also tip the washer back and inspect underneath. Check the splutch/cam assembly, belt, pulley and gearcase shaft for looseness, damage, oil leakage, or excessive movement. A worn gearcase bearing or shaft can let the basket wobble badly once it reaches high-speed spin.
One useful test is to run a high-speed spin with the washer completely empty. If it bangs violently even empty, this is much less likely to be a simple load-balancing problem. At that point I’d concentrate on basket/hub looseness, an out-of-round basket, improperly installed suspension, or gearcase/shaft play rather than replacing another set of suspension rods.
If it spins smoothly empty but bangs with clothing, check that the washer is level and solid on all four feet, and watch whether the clothes are distributing around the basket before high-speed spin. A load that stays balled up on one side can still cause banging even with good suspension.
It is most difficult to follow the thread to better understand how to resolve the issue with washer banging loudly on spin cycle. How can suspension rods be installed incorrectly? They seem to be secure. Whatever was inside the white driver hub appeared to be disintegrated but do not know what part if any needs to be replaced.
