Oven takes along time to heat on bake .How do I check igniter to see if I have a bad igniter I know I check with a ohm meter but not sure how to do it .Also I smell gas when I am trying to wait for it to get to the right temp ..

there is no need to whip out the meter on this one. replace the ignitor. the ignitor is coming on, but it is weak, and cannot open the gas valve all the way, and it is not strong enough to ignite the gas. replace it before you blow the door off. tom [url=]applianceeducator.com - parts[/url]
