Power surge pooched the logic board, part number or partial number since the sticker was roasted a bit. #2727040 Question. Can anyone identify this by visual and or can anyone advise of a good interchange listing? Can anyone advise if these boards are worth repairing? This unit MFG. March 2002 The black thing in the photo is NOT part of the assembly.

My opinion, its 15 years old, it outlived most of its kind by 5 years. I would give it a nice funeral at the dump.
But if you are serious at fixing it, I found a board at $ears. Part number[SIZE=1] [SIZE=2]22004317. About $164. [/SIZE]

That’s a burnt trace and of course the power resistor is almost burnt off the board. This kind of thing can be repaired, but the problem is something caused this. A shorted board or maybe a shorted motor. Either is bad news and more money spent on a 15 year old washer. Its just not cost effect, too many other things can still go wrong.
