Hello,
I’ve done some research and decided to replace my own bearings in my Maytag Neptune MAH7500.
When I took the unit apart, the rear bearing was completely disolved, except for the outer ring and the front bearing was cracked all the way through.
I used a 3 prong bearing puller to try and pull the front bearing out (note - soaked the bearing with unlock spray) and the inner part just came out, leaving the outer bearing part still in the unit.
Now I have both the front and rear bearing outer shell stuck! How do I get these out? The front bearing has about 2m gap and the rear bearing has zero gap.
Any thought’s or idea’s are appreciated.

I own an Maytag FAV6800A and have only replaced Outer Tub bearings in that machine.
Sounds like a bit of a challenge to get those outer tub bearing race/shell out without damaging the hub they are pressed into. May be lots of PB blaster and finding some round stock to drive out the smaller upper bearing race shell.
I don’t know if this will help but sometime ago I found some info on something similar to your current issue. Open up a You Tube and search and type in “Maytag Neptune Bearing Race Cheat” maybe it will offer some thoughts.

Thanks - I checked out You Tube and found the 3 part video.
Going to try it.
Thanks again,

Go to the search box and put in “replacing Neptune bearings” for my article.
If you can borrow a old Whirlpool washer bearing puller from an appliance guy, that would work real well.
