Main Symptom: Lid Locked and No Power to Display
What happens & when: wife did a load of clothes. Washer washed, rinsed, drained and spun. Lid remained locked and no power to keypad or display. Unplugged for 30 min and no effect. Tried the three buttons three times to enter diagnostic but again no power or lights…

Error Code (if any):no error codes because no power. Tested wall socket and power is at the socket. Noticed small spark when I plugged washer back in to the wall socket
Parts or tests already tried: no new parts tried

Test to make sure that there is 120 vac to the control board. If there is but the unit will not power up then the control board would be the most likely cause for this issue.

Thank you…I tested voltage and the line filter is proving 120vac to board. I tested resistance for solenoid for lid lock and it is not in spec. I may order both lid lock solenoid and control board.
