However, we can still move forward by checking the appliance’s service mode, which will allow us to see if the control has stored any error codes. This will help identify where we may need to start with troubleshooting. After an error code presence is identified, the power cord can be unplugged to exit the service mode.

How do you read the codes,and what do the codes mean?
The error codes would be identified by two flash patterns. For example, the LEDs might flash wash and done, then rinse/spin and done. The first flash would indicate the function and the second flash would indicate the error. If the flash patterns could be provided, I can help identify the error codes indicated by the flashes.

The sense,wash,done lights flash once and go out,then the rinse,spin lights flash once and go out.
Is the first code F9 and the second code E1 ?
The error code is going to be F5 E2 based on those flash patterns. I do not see that as a good error in the tech sheet, which can indicate an issue with the main control. However, let me check to see if there is not an F5 E2 associated with this model.
It does not appear that the error F5 E2 is valid. However, since the F5 function code is for the lid lock, the lid lock can be tested to verify if the issue is with the control or the lock. With the power supply cord unplugged, the back console panel can be removed to access the main control. There should be a 3 wire connector at connection J4A that would be disconnected. With a multimeter set to resistance and the washer lid closed, there should be a resistance reading between 50-160 Ohms when testing from the blue wire to the white wire. Does a different resistance reading show up?

I can replace the lidlock assembly,but how can you determine if the main control is defective and is the main control behind the larger knob on the control panel?
The main control would be located under the console panel just on top of the lid panel. Since the error code showing up is not listed in the manufacturer’s data, the washer having an invalid error code would point to the main control failing. The verification process would be testing the lid lock. Here are links to each part for reference.

It’s my understanding,that if you replace the main control module,that the electronics need to be recalibrated.Can you please tell me that procedure? Thankyou for all of your expert advice
The service mode would need to be activated, followed by the automatic test mode referenced in the tech sheet. Once the service mode is activated, rotate the cycle knob clockwise until the fill/soak LED turns on. Once it does, press start to activate the automatic test mode. This will complete on its own. Once it is finished, press the power button to exit completely.
