Parts or tests already tried:AP6005741 (WP208292) is the part I just ordered. I installed it and it won’t advance the cycles. It engages if I manually change it. I put my old broken part which doesn’t egage, back in, and the timer advaces on it. Just wondering if there’s anything I can do to fix it.

Make sure you ordered the right timer. There are two versions for your model and serial number. part number 208196 is for serial numbers that start with A0, the part you got starts with A6.
Oh thank you, I just used the website to check if the part fit my washer and it said yes
I went to look for that part and it seems not available, all the parts websites seem to recommend the one I bought and says it fits my washer. Which makes this very confusing.
You need the serial of the washer to see if you got the right one.Post complete serial number!
The serial nuber is A0200476
You need timer 208196 NLA. A0 is your series as in the parts list!
