Maytag LAT2500AAE Won't Start Properly

Hello,

My Maytag LAT2500AAE Won’t Start Properly. When I switch it to the first on position (16) of the first cycle option all it does is hum ever so slightly. I don’t smell anything just hear a slight humming noise.

It does eventually turn on but only at the positions just before rinse and/or spin in each cycle option, which I’ve noted in the 3 attached images. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Since it will operate through the entire cycle it would seem the problem is in the timer. There are several for your model, so check with APP or your parts supplier and give them your serial number so you can be certain to get the right one.
