May Maytag is no longer cooling anything. The freezer and fridge side are both warm. I can here the refrigerator turn on (it hums and vibrates a little) and sound normal, but after about 2-3 minutes it makes 2 clicking noises, then every 90 seconds or so, it repeats and repeats. I unplugged the unit and have made some calls, but most repairmen are telling me $175 just to come look at it. Any ideas? Any parts I may need? Thanks
The compressor start relay is faulty, Call Maytag, there has been a recall on some models, there have been some reports of the relays overheating & catching on fire. The recall repair is done at no charge.
