Maytag gas dryer heats up on high setting but not on the twoi lower settings (casual and delicate). Any suggestions re parts or diagnostics?
Can’t help you without having the dryer model number. There are MANY different models.

Thanks for responding Eric. The model number is MGD5801TWO. Some additional info: The glow light did not come on for the two lower temps when I tried this morning/afternoon. However, the dryer DID heat up on the lower settings when I tried it tonight. Don’t know how hot they got and if they will stay on thru a cycle; I will observe that next, but I expect I will experience same problem in near future, suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
Could be a faulty temp switch. This switch operates the thermostat bias heater but also has contacts that power the burner (including igniter). This is the two wires between switch pins 1 and 4 (red wires). This contact is only open when air fluff cycle is selected. When problem occurs, check for 120vac at these wires. If you only have power at one wire, the switch is faulty. You must check with connector attached so you will have to get your meter probe into the back of the connector where wire enters. Alternatively, with lower front panel removed, check for 120vac at thermal fuse on blower housing. If nothing there, switch is faulty.
