Just got a newer frig from a family member. They moved into a rental and sisnt need it so they gave it to us. It was unplugged for 3months. Came home and plugged it in and it won’t cool the frig or freezer.Temps stay at 76 for both. Lights are on and you can hear a fan. Any suggestions?

You have to do more troubleshooting.
Which fan is running?
Is the evaporator/freezer fan running?
Is the condenser/compressor fan running?
Is the compressor running? You can usually hear it but should also feel it vibrating.
