My dryer has decided not to cooperate and will not start. I have checked the thermal fuse, door switch, all connections and the inside light still works. When you press start button ( I have checked the starter switch also )you feel to positive click but nothing happens. You can hear the timer running but my question is how do you check the timer to see if its working correctly? Why I say that is if you keep turning the timer knob and pressing the start button occationally the dryer tries to start. Could this be the timer?..Help please

Hi.

Set the timer to Timed reg. and jump timer contacts BK-BU and T-W.
Dryer starts - replace the timer AP6013380

If not - tape down the door switch, push the start and turn the drum - motor kicks on - replace the motor
