Hi folks new to the forum and have a question. I have a Maytag clothes dryer that started making a scraping sound. I took it apart and found the front drum glides worn through. The paint on the glide surface of the drum is all scraped off. The dryer needs a belt as well. Is the bare steel surface on the drum going to cause problems with the new glides? Thanks in advance
Hello. I would leave the drum as is, but I would check the drum rollers in the back of the drum, normally these will need replaced at the same time, these are the parts that get all the wear and tear. Thank you
