Dishwasher stopped running in mid cycle. Appears that Control Panel is no longer available I think Pump & Motor is, not sure about timer, door switch etc..
What is the probability that it is the Control Panel which is bad versus another part ? How do I determine this ?

Many things could cause this.

First make sure the unit is getting power. Check the circuit breaker or fuse box.
The best way is to use a meter and check at the dishwasher.
Could be a bad receptacle or a bad connection in a wire nut.
Next would be the door switches. These can be checked with a meter with the power off using ohms to make sure they close when the door is closed
