I also was able to put it in service mode/self test mode where it will go through a series of cycle tests. 1. cold water fill (60 secs) 2. hot water fill (10 secs) 3. agitate (5-15 secs) but won’t agitate. Then just cancelled to test.
I can’t recall hearing any humming/buzzing. There were a couple of ‘click’ sounds like the splutch/acutator was was engaging, but then just drains the water. When it is supposed to wash/agitate (soak/wash light on), should the lid lock activate (red lid lock). Or does the lid lock only when it drains/spin.
You should be able to test the lock in service mode. With no motor movement I’d suspect the motor or the motor relay. If you can access the control board I would make some resistance checks. At the control board you’ll be looking for a connector with 7-pins , 6-wires, Brown, White w/ Blue tracer, Light Blue, White or Black w/ Yellow tracer, an empty spot, Red, and Orange wires.
Unplug the washer, disconnect that from the board. Take a resistance reading on the red and orange wires of the harness, should be about 7-12Ω. If that reads open then you most likely have a failed drive motor W11222082. If that reads in range then you most likely have a failed motor relay W11384790.
