I have a Maytag Bravos top-loading washer. Everything works great except last night, the lid just won’t unlock. I can’t find a way to unlock it, but I’m not sure if the problem is the locking latch or the control board. Unplugging it for a while didn’t help. All the cycles work, I just can’t get it to unlock. (There is a batch of clothes in there.) Any suggestions to find out what part I need to replace?
More then likely it’s going to be your door lock because it should release between 2-5 minutes after you unplug it no matter what the circumstance. But you may need to replace the control board as well who knows. Order both parts from this site and whatever one fixes it return the other part for a refund. Good luck
