I have a Magic Chef (model# 5651XUW) electric range in my rental unit and my tenant says the stove top elements are slow to heat up (slower than they used to be). Does anyone know why it would take longer for the elements to heat?
Thanks.

Since all the elements have separate control switches I cannot see them all slowing down at the same time.
It could be that there is a problem with the power to the unit.
Are you referring to power supply at the wall or a power supply unit inside the range?
My tenant is up there in years so it may just be her perception. I haven’t tested the unit myself and I have gas at my house, so I’m not even sure that I have a real problem. I was just wondering if the elements or one of the other components could degrade over time and produce less heat.
Thanks for your response.

The power supply in the wall.
It goes directly to all 4 stove top elements.
