Main Symptom: Defrost cycle not activating
What happens & when: Compressor runs non stop causing ice build up on coils. I took apart what i could and am not sure what each part is. The part that’s by itself tests at 0.01 Ohms and the heater plug which is at top left of first Pic has 75 ohms of resistance. I simply dont understand how to narrow this down to a specific part that’s bad. I cant isolate the thermostat bc some online posts ive read have differing explanations about where the therostatbis. I’ve read that it could be the motherboard but I cant afford to throw $100 at a part that may not be the issue. I know the fan works and the ice build up happens after a few days of compressor running non stop and then the fridge section gets to about 60 degrees. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
