Loud noise when spinning

I own a Whirlpool WTW5057LW0 top load washer that is loud when spinning. Still works okay although when spinning it’s so loud.

As it spins up it gets louder and louder.

From what you’re describing, it sounds like the washer is probably roaring like a jet engine during the spin cycle. That’s a classic sign of failing tub bearings, which are built into the gearcase on this model.
