What happens & when: Thermostat binds
I have an older GE wall oven, I think it is from the 60s. Still works and I need a thermostat. The one I have binds and tough to set. The rod in the oven is also in poor shape. Looking to see if I can get a part number for a replacement. i don’t want to take it all a part and break it as it is currently working, just not well.
Here is a link to the part number for the thermostat. This has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. There is also a mounting kit that may be required which I have attached a link for.
