Line From compressor freezing up

Hi there have this ge side by side we got from a friend and been trying to fix it. When we got it it would not cool all the time. We called a repair guy and he came out and told us the computer board was bad in it so I found one and replaced it. Let it run and still having issues . Our old one is similar so in that freezer I could hear a fan that is for the evaporator and the new one was not , so I took that apart and found the fan blades not on the motor. Put that back on and now the copper line out of the compressor keeps frosting up. I found a way to install my car ac gauges up to it, I found the pressure to be around 0 and I found it needs to be about 5 psi so I added about 2 ounces and pressure was up to about 5 last night . Woke up this morning and was a little frosted but by 6 tonight looks like there is more frost then before . Could I have put the evap fan blades on wrong or what else should I check ?

You put too much refrigerant in, let some out till the frost line moves away from the compressor.

But it was freezing up before I put some in it too, I guess it’s possible that it had too much in it before I put some in it. Can the fan blades on evaporator fan be put on backwards so it’s not moving air across evaporator correctly??

If the evaporator is frozen, or the air is not moving fast thru the evaporator, the system will run cool and the frost line will back up to the compressor.
