lid locks but machine does nothing

when start is pushed in any cycle lid lock and fill lights come on, machine does nothing. lid lock is new (machine ran for 1 day after replacing). +5 and+13 supply voltages are present on main control.checked level control and fill valves lvl. cntr. is open and fill vlv. resistance is correct (no voltage) also cannot seem to be able to enter diagnostic test modes. after half second clicks on selector, push start and lid lock and fill lights come on. (have tried several times). what else to check? could main control be bad? help!!! some expert advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Very likely the main control board is the culprit but before ordering any part I would recommend to perform the test #1 as described in the attached file.
