LG Washer grounding

Main Symptom: replacing stator assembly bought in PO 16908283-13827283
What happens & when: screw holding ground wire by stator had the head broke off so old stator was not getting ground. I have not been able to get screw out using a left hand drill. Can I ground this somewhere else?

If you can find another position on the tub to put the ground wire then you can do that. Not sure about another location that would be there though.

Would it work to ground to on the clamp that holds the wiring harness? There is very little metal on the actual tub!

Yes that would work as long as the screw is making contact with metal.
