LG Refrigerator

For some unknown reason a glass fuse blew out. The fuse is on a pcb which
is sodered to the circuit board. I would like to replace the circuit board,n when I need to know what caused the fuse to blow. What is to prevent it from happening again. The curcuit board is about $200, to replace just because if a fuse going bad.

I think the major difference is the size of the unit.

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

This is a fairly complex piece of gear so it may be best to get a pro in. Make sure they have experience with similar LG’s.

If was troubleshooting I would replace the fuse and see what happens.
I would do this with the fan motors disconnected as this power supply provides the DC to drive and this would at least eliminate them as the cause.
