LG Refrigerator LFX31925ST / 00
The swinger that closes the space between the 2 top refrig doors will not catch on the rotating clip at top 50% of the time. . This leaves the swinger open and lets cool air out raising the temp. I have loosened the 2 screws in the middle and retightened but cannot get the bar to raise and make better contact with clip on top that should turn the bar.
What can I do to make this more positive to close???

The bar is called a Mullion.
Check on the bottom hinge on the left side door, there might be a small cover plate you need to remove first. The hinge pin might be an adjustable bolt that uses a hex key the adjust the height of the door. It sounds like you may need to raise the door up a little bit. The swinging mullion door has a pin on the top of it, is it broken or too short to engage in the top center track that should swing the mullion door open and closed? Good luck, I’m looking for some more info for my LG fridge, I’m never buying a french door fridge again.
