LG LMXS 30776D 02 Refrigerator Error Code E15

Main Symptom: Error Code E15
What happens & when: E15 message appears, I have followed the LG recommendations for a fix and replaced the ice maker, then the water valve and then the PCB board. The message continues to come back usually 1 to 2 hours after turning the power back on. I have read on forums of others having a similar issue and to resolve it they replaced the left side door. When you look up doors they are hard to find and the description does not say what all is included. I have taken the cap off and inspected the wire harness at the top of the door but not performed any ohm checks yet. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There will not be an error code E15 but this error will likely be E IS. This would indicate an icing sensor error. You will want to look for loose connections and check the sensor resistance. If the connections are good then go to the control board and go to the CN5 connector. You will test pins 11 yellow/blue to pin 12 blue. If there is a an infinite or open reading then the sensor has failed. If there is resistance of 23k ohms then this will be a good sensor and this will be a board issue. With the board, valve, and the icemaker having been replaced already then this would likely be an issue with the wiring.
