I have read alot of poor reviews of LG Refrigerators online in the past couple days. Issues seems to primarily be with water leaks, freezing ice makers, and a common [/SIZE][SIZE=2]error code ER 1F. Are LG’s really more repair prone and expensive than other brands?

LG will not honor their warranty unless you have one of their contracted service representative check out the refrigerator and install the part. The first service call will be $120 dollars and then her will tell you what it will cost for the labor to install. This is if the warranty period has expired on all but the 10 year warranty on the sealed system. I could not get them to do anything to send me a compressor to replace my defective on. I had to purchased one on the internet.
