LG ice maker and freezer temp

Main Symptom:ice makers both in door and in lower freezer will not harvest ice and return to next cycle
What happens & when:

when I press the reset button both door ice tray maker and the bottom freezer will cycle the tray and fill with water. Overnight they will make ice but not dump it and restart cycle.

Refrigerator is set at 41 f and freezer at 4F

When I used lasers temp gun in refrigerator it is 41.5f. When I check the freezer it is about 36F.

I removed the back panel, in the freezer, thinking I had a fan blower issue - but both flans are operating correctly.

I attached a picture of my coils - only in upper right corner - they are showing some signs of icing over.

I’m thinking I may have a thermistor that is bad, or compressor issue bad.

What are your thoughts?

With that frost pattern you’ve got a sealed system issue. You’ll need to contact a sealed system capable appliance repair company for further diagnosis.
