LG Gas/Propane Double Oven (Upper Oven only - F9 code)

Main Symptom: F9 error code on Upper Oven only
What happens & when: When selecting Bake, Warm or Pizza, oven does not ignite/heat up. Replaced ignitor and replaced thermistor (used genuine parts NOT from Amazon). When selecting Broil, oven works! Any suggestions (new Main PCB board, WiFI module or Control Panel )?

With a new ignitor, does it glow when tuned on to bake? If not, check for power to the ignitor and if no power to it check the wiring and connections from the ignitor back to the control…still no power, likely a control issue.

The ignitor does not glow and no flames for bake, warm or pizza. We also did a test to see if we could ignite with a lighter and that didn’t work (no propane coming through). But it does glow when selecting broil and actually lights (see flames) on its own. Why would it work for one setting but not the others? We took the panel off the back and all the wires look good, nothing lose.

Likely the control is not suppling power out to the ignitor.
