Our LG fridge was found to be leaking via the freezer door, upon further investigation the ‘air vents’ at the back of the freezer drawer have water condensing and freezing water collecting on the bottom then eventually leaking out via the gasket. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Based on the information provided, it sounds like the defrost drain tube is clogged up. The evaporator cover in the back of the freezer would need to be removed after unplugging the appliance power cord. Once removed, the defrost drain tube under the evaporator would need to be thoroughly cleaned after carefully removing the ice blocking it up.
