LG electric range will not turn on

My LG electric range does not turn on. A pot of water boiled over and the unit stopped working. I have reset, unplugged, plugged in, checked the breakers, turned the breaker off and turned it back on 5 minutes later, I even put my left foot in and my right foot out. The unit will not turn on.

Brand:LG
Model Number: LSE4613BD
Main Symptom: Unit will not power on
What happens & when: Nothing happens

Error Code (if any): None

Does the cooktop work at all? If not, the power cord would need to be tested for Volts AC where it connects into the range while it is plugged into the outlet. What voltage reading is present when testing from the red wire to the black wire, then from red wire to white wire, and black wire to white wire?

Thanks for the help.

Nothing is working. Cook top, Oven, Clock. Nothing

B to W 124.3
R to W 123.7
R to B 246

With the power cord unplugged, there is a thermostat located just above and to the left of the convection fan motor. If you disconnect the wires going to the thermostat and test it for continuity, does it have continuity or is it reading open?

EDIT. I did not disconnect the leads and read the wrong thing.

This time I unplugged the thermostat wires and the reading was 00.3

Since the thermostat has continuity and there was power at the terminal block, the only thing the oven, display, and cooktop have in common that would cause this issue is the oven relay control. EBR80595411 Power Control Board Assembly | Genuine Lg OEM In Stock

Thank you very much for your help. Is this the board in the control panel or on the back of the range?

This would be the one on the back of the range.

Well, that did not work.

After swapping boards and reconnecting, the only light I get is the Burner On light on the control panel and no burner heating up

No clock. No beeps. No controls Any other ideas?

I guess I don’t understand the connection with a pot boiling over, seeping into the front control panel and a board on the back of the unit going bad.

The water can create an electrical short that can damage electronics, such as a control board. The burner on light coming on indicates the relay control is allowing voltage to flow through to the oven main control, and that the oven main control is allowing the surface burner on light to turn on. If you access the power board behind the range, voltage testing can be done to identify what might be stopping the main control from completing its proper function. Here is what the DC voltages should be at each pin on the 7-wire connector. The pins are the same as what they would be on the main control. Let me know what readings come up.

Thank you for the input. I will check the voltage and let you know.

For reference, the part suggested was not the Main PCB but the control board circled in blue

Correct, the relay control circled in blue was suggested.

Once again and 10,000 times more, Thank you for the help.

I want to make sure I am reading the proper connector. White arrow pointing to what I believe is the connector with a close up of the connector

The first image is the correct connector from what I am able to identify. When testing, it will need to be plugged into the control. If the meter probes are not small enough to fit in, a piece of small wire or a short section of a thin paper clip can be used to act as an extender by taping it firmly against the meter probes.

Please forgive the constant questions. When you say 1-3 I should be touching pins 1 and 3 to get the reading of (4.3)

You are correct. After testing from pin 1 to pin 3, pin 4 to pin 7 then pin 6 to pin 7 would be tested.

Pins 1-3. .97v

Pins 4-7 .087

Pins 6-7 .072

This is on the front control panel

Volts AC

Pins 1-3. .97v

Pins 4-7 .087

Pins 6-7 .072

Volts DC

1-3 -31.5

4-7 -32

6-7 12.02

This is on the front control panel

It looks like the power control board is sending proper voltage to the control panel. With that being the case, it would appear that when the water boiled over, it caused a short to take out both the main control and the relay control. Replacing the relay control returned very limited function but the main control would need to be replaced to restore full function. Here is a link to the part information page for reference. How does this connector come off? I have tried everything I can see. It is the last connector on the bottom left hand of the board
