LG dryer blowing thermal fuse

Brand: LG
Model Number: DLE8377wm
Main Symptom: blowing thermal fuses
What happens & when: I replaced thermal fuse on LG dryer and also took my 2-stroke blower and blew out the 4" vent line until house stunk like 2 stroke exhaust for a day. There seems to be good and full air flow to exhaust vent. Any lint accumulation was blown out with blower. In fact, whenever i have to move dryer I blow out exhaust tube so it shouldn’t have long term lint blockage. I have to pull dryer out about 3’ to attach hose and then shove it back in blind so not sure if hose spirals a little at that point.

Used dryer for about 4 loads at 40 mins each, worked great, then no heat and thermal fuse blown again.

I now replaced LG PN 6931EL3003D Limit Thermostat (= thermal fuse) , 6323EL2001B Thermistor & 6931EL3001E Thermostat. I only ran it for 20 mins and it worked fine.

I ran on air dry mode for 2 minutes and no heat ( I think that is good thing).

Is it possible i got a crappy dud thermal fuse? Or I needed to also replace the other parts I’ve subsequently replaced?

My concern is if this fries another thermal fuse, do I replace heating element and see where that takes me? or just replace dryer?

THANKS !!

Error Code (if any): none

Check the dryer heating element to see if it is shorted to the cabinet. Use your multimeter set on continuity, and check from each terminal to the metal housing of the element. If there is continuity, the element is touching the metal case, and the element will need to be replaced. It is not likely that the thermostats have failed

thank you! If/when fuse blows again, i will check the element.
