I have a 4 cu refrig in my outdoor kitchen/bbq…Turbo Magic Cool with an LG compressor. The compressor runs, but the micro switch part number 265rfbyy pops and turns the compressor off, then it will turn it back on for a very short period and then off again..when I remove the switch and hard wire it, the compressor will continue to run…so not sure if this is a heat sensor turning it off or the compressor is low on coolant??? any ideas?

Below is what comes up when I search using your part number.

Click on the picture and a new page will open with a Q&A which may be helpful.

Is the compressor hot? Inf not then it may just be a bad motor protector.
I doubt it is a low freon problem. Most units will just run continuously when there ids low freon trying to hit the thermostat’s set point.
Could also be a bad PTC starter (AP4979306)
Yes the compressor gets very hot when I direct connect without the cut off switch or part number I referenced…but with the switch installed, the compressor does not get hot, slightly warm as the switch cuts it off…the switch itself is extremely warm however… sitting on top of this part number is another black part p6r8mc with a second set of numbers below: OR0608 It does not appear to be part of the problem, I can remove it, hard wire the blue wire directly to the compressor and the first part will continue to cut off the compressor…
Can you post a picture of the second part you suggested might be bad as well…
should the compressor get really hot? as it does if I remove the switch in which you have posted the picture on your reply…
Thanks for your help.
