Our dishwasher is slowly leaking. The water appears in front of the dishwasher several hours after the dishwasher is run (probably 12 hours after being run).
I took out the filter to clean and the area where the filter is inserted was filled with water–the dishwasher hasn’t been ran in more than 36hrs.
Many dishwashers have a “sump” or lower level in the bottom, which will remain partly filled with water, that is normal.
You may need to remove the front bottom kick plate to be sure there is no other water leaks.
Most times, a leak which appears after a wash cycle indicates a drain pump shaft seal leaking.
