my dw leaks from the plastic fill port which seems to glue to the outside of the tub. can this be repaired or replaced?

Are you sure it’s leaking at the tub port ?
Could it be leaking from the fill tube (more likely) ?
You may need to dismount the dishwasher, and observe the unit in a fill cycle and varify where the leak is.
