Krups Household Coffeemaker heating element

Please make sure to click on General above and select the correct appliance type first.

Brand: Krups
Model Number: Household Coffeemaker
Main Symptom: does not work
What happens & when: There are 2 components that connect the heating element to the AC line. One of them (red circled in photo) reads as an open circuit. Are these fuses? If so, any advice on how to replace? I assume that soldering is not sufficient and I would need some sort of brazing to replace the unit.

Error Code (if any):

I’m sorry, but we usually don’t provide troubleshooting assistance for coffee makers. I also don’t see a model number included. Without the model number, I wouldn’t be able to research the unit or offer model-specific guidance.

If you can provide the complete model number, I’d be happy to see if there’s any general information I can point you toward.

Sorry, I didn’t realize that about coffee maker troubleshooting assistance. As far as I can discern, there is no marking on the unit to indicate model number other than the text “HOUSEHOLD COFFEEMAKER” as shown in the photo.

Yeah we don’t list or sell parts for coffee makers. My advice would be to either look on the company website or contact them directly
