What was the part number of the board you got

Kode900hss. The front panel looks right but once you go through setup it has an upper oven and lower oven option. Not a microwave and lower oven.

That’s the model # I need the part # of the board you received should be something like this W11294388

I received w11505276

you got the wrong board you need ( Whirlpool W11294388 Electric Wall Oven Wall Oven Electronic Control Board Assembly | Genuine OEM Part )

Ok. This piece I ordered was 611 dollars. How or who do I get to send me the correct board? Do I keep the front panel and just switch the board? Who do I need to talk to?

where did you order it from?

I ordered it from your website

And I ordered it according to my model number

you can contact here and let them see what they can do for you ( Cancellations & Returns - AppliancePartsPros.com )

I received my board but I’m having trouble locating it once I take front lcd panel off. I see a yellowish orange board. But not the one that was sent to me. Is there some sort of wiring diagram available

Found the location of the board. But same problem persist

How does that work. I bought the part you said. But same problem is happening. Touch panel keeps rebooting will not go pass kitchen aid screen then resets

Based on what you described, the replacement control panel is almost certainly configured with the wrong personality/model.

The biggest clue is this:

  • Your actual model: KOCE900HSS02 (Microwave + Oven combo)
  • Display now identifies itself as: KODE900HSS
  • The microwave menu is completely missing.

That means the new control panel thinks it is installed on a double wall oven (KODE) instead of a microwave/oven combo (KOCE). When that happens, the microwave features are disabled because the control is configured for the wrong appliance.

A couple of things to check:

  1. What is the part number on the new control panel?
    • Compare it to the number on the box or the sticker on the back of the old panel.
    • It’s possible the supplier shipped a KODE panel instead of a KOCE panel, even if the part numbers are similar.
  2. Did the new panel ask for a personality or model selection when first powered up?
    • Some Whirlpool/KitchenAid controls require programming during first power-up.
    • If the wrong personality is selected, the appliance will identify itself as another model and certain features disappear.
  3. If no programming was requested
    • The panel may have arrived pre-programmed for a KODE model.
    • In that case it will need to be reprogrammed (if possible) or exchanged for the correct version.

Can it be fixed?

Usually yes, if the control supports personality programming. Otherwise, the wrong programmed panel must be replaced with the correct one.

If you’re replacing control board W11294388 in a KitchenAid KOCE900HSS02 (or another compatible KOCE/KODE/KOSE 900-series oven), the new board must be programmed with the correct model/personality after installation. If it isn’t, features may be missing—for example, the microwave may disappear and the display may identify the unit as a different model (such as KODE900 instead of KOCE900).

Based on your earlier description, that’s exactly what has happened.

Unfortunately, Whirlpool/KitchenAid does not provide a consumer procedure to manually select the appliance model on these wall oven boards. The personality/model information is typically loaded using the Whirlpool Service Tool (WST) by connecting to the appliance’s service port. A replacement board that was not pre-programmed for your exact model will behave like the wrong appliance.

Please let me know:

  1. Is the replacement board a new OEM W11294388?
  2. Where did you purchase it (AppliancePartsPros, RepairClinic, eBay, Amazon, etc.)?
  3. Is there a white sticker on the board with a software version or model number?

If your board displays KODE900HSS instead of KOCE900HSS, it is almost certainly programmed with the wrong personality or was shipped with the incorrect software. In that case, it will need to be reprogrammed with the Whirlpool Service Tool or exchanged for a correctly programmed board.
